Produce Quality Control Inspector/Receiving

Description:

Receives, checks quality, and stores products and materials in the corresponding cold storage room. Obtains records of products/materials and verifies that documents relate to products/materials received. Performs the required quality recordkeeping in the famous software and reports the quality to sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Checks quality of products/materials received.

· Checks for pests, blood pathogens, bad odors, and assures good trailer condition prior to unloading.

· Records trailer checks on a raw material receiving form.

· Reports quality and conditions of products/materials to management and suppliers.

· Sends pictures of products/materials received to management and suppliers.

· Uses forklift to unload products/materials.

· Prints and labels each pallet with the appropriate tag, lot number, and date of entry.

· Stores product/material in appropriate cold storage room according to temperature.

· Inputs information into famous software.

· Makes sure that all documents match products/materials received.

· Assists co-workers and management when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
