As a Produce Salad Clerk, you play an important role in delivering the Quality, Variety, and Service our customers expect. You’ll help prepare fresh-cut fruits, vegetables, and salads while keeping the Produce Department clean, stocked, and visually appealing.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare fresh-cut fruits, vegetables, and salads for the fresh-cut sales area
• Ensure products meet high standards of freshness, quality, and presentation
• Stock and rotate products in the produce cooler and display areas
• Package, label, and price items accurately according to department procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays in the Produce Department
• Monitor product temperatures and ensure display cases are properly maintained
• Follow proper food safety, washing, cutting, and sanitation procedures
• Provide friendly customer service by assisting shoppers and answering questions
• Help maintain overall department organization and assist with other produce tasks as needed

Work Environment

This role involves working in the Produce Department, including preparation areas and refrigerated coolers. You’ll be on your feet throughout your shift preparing fresh fruits, vegetables, and salads while maintaining clean, organized displays in a dynamic environment.
