This is a full-time hybrid role based in Istanbul , with the flexibility to work from home.



Role Description


We are looking for a qualified professional to contribute to the development of design strategy by combining conceptual thinking with data-driven insights such as trend and competitor analysis. The role focuses on elevating product design and presentation standards, with a strong emphasis on visual capability and experience in both 2D and 3D material and surface design.


As a Product and Display Design Senior Specialist , you will be responsible for developing and executing design concepts, creating visually engaging product displays, and conducting user research to refine design solutions. You will also apply design thinking methodologies to address complex challenges, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with the company’s creative vision.


This position involves full-time, five-day-per-week work dedicated to one of our client brands , in close and continuous collaboration with its internal teams. The role is embedded within the client organization and fully integrated into their daily operations and workflows. The setup includes three days on-site at the client’s office and two days working remotely.


Job Profile


  • Contribute to product roadmap development and lifecycle management, including competitor analysis and support in shaping brand and product strategy
  • Review visual outputs from agencies and provide feedback or creative direction when required
  • Manage the visual product portfolio, including supplier and material sourcing and selection
  • Coordinate with suppliers and collaborate on new design developments aligned with both global and local market needs
  • Attend trade fairs and engage with designers, architects, manufacturers, and customers to monitor industry trends
  • Coordinate the design and execution of fairs and exhibitions, ensuring appropriate product representation
  • Develop visually compelling and inspiring presentations that effectively communicate product value
  • Create training materials and informative content for internal teams, subsidiaries, and distributors
  • Support budget planning and marketing strategy processes
  • Develop creative and sustainable solutions to optimize portfolio management, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Industrial Design
  • 4–5 years of experience in building materials, furniture, or decorative surfaces
  • Strong understanding of design trends, color management, and presentation techniques
  • Ability to read market dynamics and translate insights into design direction
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Experience in product management, design, or marketing is a plus
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
