Product and Innovation Manager

Job Expired

Role Overview

As our Product & Innovation Manager, you will sit at the intersection of trend-spotting, product strategy, and technical execution. Your primary mission is to prevent product stagnation. You will ruthlessly audit our existing native apps, monitor the tech landscape for emerging capabilities (e.g., AI integrations, spatial computing, advanced biometrics), and champion the updates, redesigns, and feature overhauls needed to keep our products at the absolute forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Modernization & Lifecycle Management

Keep Products "To the Mark": Continuously evaluate our existing native apps against modern UX/UI standards, performance benchmarks, and OS-specific guidelines (Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design).

Technical Debt vs. Innovation: Partner with Engineering Leads to balance the resolution of technical debt with the injection of fresh, value-driven features.

Legacy Overhauls: Identify features or entire apps ripe for deprecation, refactoring, or complete redesign, and build the business case for doing so.

2. Innovation & Trend Scouting

OS Feature Adoption: Monitor Apple WWDC and Google I/O announcements to ensure our apps immediately leverage new platform capabilities (e.g., new widget frameworks, privacy features, OS-level AI capabilities).

Competitive Intelligence: Keep a pulse on market trends, competitor movements, and emerging mobile technologies to identify gaps and opportunities for our product suite.

Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Run lean experiments and prototype innovative features with a dedicated R&D or core engineering pod to test viability.

3. Strategy & Execution

Roadmap Ownership: Define and drive the modernization roadmap, aligning stakeholders on why updating a feature is critical for retention and growth.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with Native iOS/Android Developers, UI/UX Designers, Data Analysts, and QA to bring modern, polished app updates to life.

Metrics-Driven Iteration: Define success metrics for product updates (e.g., crash-free rates, app store ratings, engagement lifts, adoption of new features) and iterate based on hard data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years of Product Management experience, specifically managing native mobile applications (iOS and Android). Experience in a dedicated R&D or innovation role is a massive plus.
  • Mobile Expertise: Deep familiarity with Mobile App Store ecosystems (App Store Connect, Google Play Console), deployment pipelines, and platform-specific capabilities.
  • Design Sensibility: A sharp eye for modern mobile UX/UI patterns. You know the difference between a lazy web-view port and a fluid, high-performance native interaction.
  • Technical Literacy: While you don't need to code, you must speak the language of mobile engineers (Swift, Kotlin, APIs, SDK integrations) and understand the implications of operating system updates.
  • Agile Mindset: Proven track record of managing product backlogs, writing crisp user stories, and operating effectively within Agile/Scrum frameworks.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • A dedicated "Innovation Budget" for learning, attending major tech conferences (like WWDC or Google I/O), and experimenting with new tech.
  • The chance to work on products used by millions, ensuring they stay world-class.

Pay: From Rs100,000.00 per month

Application Question(s):
