Product Design Intern

Focus would be on the quality of the user experience including the impact, consistency, ease of use and beauty of the final product.

Participate in Product design discussions and ensure design satisfies user requirements.

Design meaningful experiences across a wide range of channels and platforms.

Understand how design fits into the development process for multiple products.

Proactively identify and solve problems, improve personal skills, and assist team members.

Present designs in a clear, confident, and logical manner.

Seek to understand product market, competitors, opportunities and challenges.

Stay on top of industry trends.

What we look for?

• < 1 year of experience into product designing/ UIUX.
• This is a 5 to 6 months internship role with a potential to convert fulltime.
• Own the design process end-to-end - translating research into actionable insights, then designing workflows and design to build product features.
• Deep sense of problem solving and an eye for detail.
• Passion about how design can create and impact business value.
• An eye for detail with originality and out of box thinking.
• Ability to understand complex business goals, product & technical content, and Interaction Design in order to create engaging & effective experiences for our customers.
• Understanding how communication is the key for a seamless user experience. Basics of copywriting/UX writing.
• Creating, managing and evolving a design system.
• Work closely with engineers as they build the design.
• Contribute to and participate in a collaborative, knowledge-sharing design community.
• Relevant experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS enterprise suite.
• Knowledge of front end development (Just some basic know-how is preferable).
• Micro interactions and experience of working UI animations would be preferred.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field of study
• Previous internship/relevant experience in product design
• Relevant projects/portfolio to display the interest.
• Proficient in visual design and wireframing tools.
