Product Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design modular furniture (beds, wardrobes, side tables, office desks, storage units, etc.) in line with Furnura’s design philosophy.
• Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and renders for production and client presentations.
• Work closely with the engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Research global trends in furniture design, ergonomics, sustainability, and materials to bring innovation to Furnura’s portfolio.
• Ensure designs align with sustainability principles and optimize for mass-premium production.
• Collaborate on prototyping, testing, and refining designs based on feedback.
• Maintain consistency with brand aesthetics while exploring bold, disruptive ideas.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Product Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in furniture or interior product design (modular furniture preferred).
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar.
• Strong understanding of materials (wood, metal, laminates, fabrics) and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to translate abstract ideas into practical and visually appealing designs.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in design and manufacturing is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹10,503.95 - ₹55,506.54 per month
