We’re seeking a Product Designer who thrives in a fast-moving, startup environment and can seamlessly integrate product design excellence with strategic business awareness.
This role sits within the Marketing organization and partners deeply with Product Management and Engineering to design intuitive, impactful, and scalable product experiences that align with our brand and business goals.
This is an opportunity for a designer who understands how design choices influence both user behavior and market positioning, and who has shipped data-rich SaaS products at speed.
Responsibilities:
Product Design & Execution

Lead the design of user experiences across Parsec’s SaaS platforms — from concept and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and production-ready assets.

Translate complex educational data and workflows into intuitive, elegant, and accessible interfaces.

Work closely with Product and Engineering to prototype, iterate, and ship designs quickly in high-velocity development cycles.

Partner with developers during implementation to ensure accurate, efficient handoffs and clean design QA.

Maintain and evolve Parsec’s design system for cross-product consistency and speed.

Advocate for design excellence while being pragmatic about technical feasibility and delivery timelines.
Strategic Design Thinking

Ensure all product design decisions support business, brand, and market goals — not just usability.

Collaborate with Marketing leadership to translate market insights, user feedback, and positioning strategies into product experience improvements.

Design with an understanding of go-to-market dynamics, helping to create experiences that increase user adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction.

Balance user-centered design principles with business priorities in every decision.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure alignment between product experience, brand identity, and growth goals.

Contribute to a high-velocity, collaborative culture — adapting quickly to changing priorities and sprint cycles.

Bring proactive energy and curiosity to team discussions, identifying design opportunities that advance both product and business strategy.
Experience:
- 6+ years of professional experience in product design, preferably in B2B SaaS or data-heavy web applications.

Proven experience shipping live products in partnership with engineering teams — ideally in fast-paced or agile environments.

Deep proficiency with Figma and design systems management.

Strong understanding of responsive design, interaction design, accessibility, and UX best practices.

Experience collaborating with marketing and business stakeholders to ensure designs align with strategic objectives.

Excellent communication skills — able to articulate design rationale across disciplines and levels of technical fluency.

The expected range of pay for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications and experience. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits. Our Hiring Manager can share more information about the salary range specific to your working location and other factors during the hiring process.
