Product Designer

As a Product Designer at Rewaa, you will be part of a cross-functional squad that works closely with other squads in a hyper-growth SaaS startup. You will collaborate with Product Managers (PMs), Engineers, Quality Assurance (QA), and other key stakeholders to design innovative, user-centered solutions that drive product growth.

• Understanding & Framing Problems:
• Identify and Frame Key Problems: Work with your team to align design challenges with product and business strategies to ensure your team focuses on high-impact problems that drive growth and user satisfaction
  

• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Engage in collaborative sessions with PMs, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather diverse perspectives and align on problem statements
  

• Work on Product Challenges: Work on design challenges, balancing technical, business, user needs, and ensuring solutions are scalable and user-friendly
  
  

• Solution Framing & Strategic Design:
• Balance Creativity with Strategy: Effectively balance creative exploration and strategic focus, ensuring design solutions meet both user needs and business objectives
  

• Evaluate Solutions Systematically: Work closely with cross-functions teams to evaluate solutions based on feasibility, impact, and alignment with goals
  

• Contribute to System Design: Contribute to designing scalable and flexible solutions that can evolve with the product
  

• Work with Modular Systems: Use and contribute to reusable, modular design systems that simplify future development and iterations, supporting the growth of the product
  
  

• Product Building & System Ownership:
• Contribute to the Design System: Take responsibility for contributing to and maintaining the design system within your squad while collaborating with other squads to ensure consistency and scalability
  

• Refine Interaction Design: Offer feedback on interaction designs and proactively identify areas for improvement
  

• Prototype with Intent: Use prototypes to effectively communicate your ideas, validating them with users and stakeholders
  

• Collaborate Closely with Engineering: Work closely with engineering to ensure smooth design implementation, considering technical constraints and refining interactions during the build phase
  
  

• Shipping & Product Delivery:
• Follow Product Shipping Processes: Follow and contribute to processes that streamline product delivery, ensuring designers can focus on shipping high-quality features
  

• Manage Handoff: Work to resolve potential handoff issues between design and engineering, ensuring smooth product development
  

• Iterate for Measurable Outcomes: Use data and feedback to drive iterative improvements, ensuring that design decisions are linked to business and user metrics
  

• Enhance Information Architecture (IA): Propose improvements in IA across Figma, ensuring efficient workflows and optimal user experiences
  
  

• Team Player & Ownership:
• Team Player: As a product designer, you will be expected to collaborate effectively with peers to scale design within Rewaa
  

• Ownership Mindset: We are looking for designers with an ownership mindset, who take responsibility for the problems they solve and drive them through to completion
  

• Proven Experience: 3+ years in product design, with experience designing for SaaS products in high-growth environments
  

• Strong Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional squads and interact with other teams (PMs, POs, Engineers, QA)
  

• Experience with Design Systems: Experience in using and contributing to modular scalable design systems that allow for flexibility and scalability
  

• Proficiency in Prototyping Tools: Specifically (Figma). Experience in High-fidelity low-code-no-code prototyping tools is a plus (e.g. Framer, ProtoPie, Webflow)
  

• User-Centered Design Expertise: Strong focus on user-centered design principles and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on solutions
  

• Data-Driven Iteration: Ability to link design work to business and user metrics, driving iterative improvements
  

• SaaS Experience: Familiarity with the unique challenges of SaaS products and a keen understanding of what drives product success in a fast-paced environment
