Product Designer – Harley-Davidson & US Motorcycle Market

Duties

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketing to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into innovative design solutions.
  • Lead user research initiatives to understand rider needs, behaviors, and preferences, utilizing findings to inform design strategies.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision that demonstrate clear user flows and interaction patterns.
  • Design engaging UI elements and layouts for web platforms and mobile applications that adhere to responsive web design principles for optimal performance on all devices.
  • Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and user acceptance testing to validate design effectiveness and refine user experiences based on data insights from tools like Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics.
  • Apply best practices in information architecture, accessibility standards (Web accessibility), and design patterns to ensure intuitive navigation and inclusive experiences.
  • Utilize front-end development knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular to collaborate effectively with developers during the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects or similar tools to enhance engagement within digital interfaces.
  • Support continuous improvement by analyzing analytics data, user feedback, and industry trends to evolve product designs proactively.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing work on e-commerce platforms or mobile applications within an Agile environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of web design principles including layout design, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Axure, Balsamiq, Zeplin, or similar software for wireframing and prototyping.
  • Familiarity with front-end development languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React/React Express), along with APIs integration for seamless product development workflows.
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret web analytics data using tools like Google Analytics 360 or Omniture for data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; experience working within SDLC processes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to conduct user research through interviews, surveys (Qualtrics), and usability testing sessions; adept at translating insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Experience designing for digital accessibility standards (Web accessibility) ensuring inclusive user experiences across diverse audiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,794.16 - $61,171.46 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
