Role Overview

The Product Sourcing & Development Manager will lead the curation, sourcing, and category expansion of Ramalaya’s luxury product lines. The role requires deep collaboration with artisan clusters, wellness producers, and creative teams to bring high-quality, culturally rooted, and globally appealing products to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand product categories across Ramalaya’s verticals: Fragrance, Wellness, Ayurveda, and Sustainable Lifestyle.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard artisans, manufacturers, and wellness partners across India.
• Ensure all sourcing adheres to ethical, sustainable, and fair-trade principles.
• Collaborate with design and R&D teams to reimagine ancient Indian rituals into modern luxury products.
• Lead costing, negotiation, and pricing to balance quality craftsmanship with profitability.
• Coordinate supply chain, quality control, and retail rollout to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain sourcing dashboards, product performance reports, and vendor insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Product Development, Retail Management, or Supply Chain.
• 7–10 years of experience in product sourcing and category development within luxury, Ayurveda, or lifestyle sectors.
• Proven experience working with artisan clusters, fragrance houses, or wellness producers.
• Strong understanding of Indian heritage, natural materials, Ayurveda, and craftsmanship.
• Hands-on experience in vendor management, compliance, and ethical sourcing.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong aesthetic and sensory understanding aligned with luxury and spirituality.
• Creative and analytical mindset with an appreciation for Indian design and storytelling.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and sourcing dashboards.
• Passion for sustainability, authenticity, and “India for the World.”
