Product Development Associate

Company Overview
United Pacific Industries (UPI) is an industry leader in the Heavy-Duty Truck accessories, lighting and collision parts. The ideal candidate for our Product Development Associate would have a minimum of 1 or 2 years of experience with sourcing, product development or product coordinating. Specific experience in product research, strategies and development requirements, and able to coordinate manufacturing process

Responsibilities

• Participate in product development and coordinate manufacturing process
• Assist Project Managers with general administrative tracking and various reports
• Negotiate pricing and payment terms with suppliers
• Sample testing and evaluation
• Work cross-functionally for new item development and quality issues
• Daily item updates to ERP system and to project management software

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be able to multi task, prioritize and the ability to adapt quickly
• Strategic thinker with proven track of execution
• A Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Business Management or related field
• 1-2-year experience with sourcing, product development or project coordinator
• Automotive aftermarket experiences a plus!
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is a plus!

In compliance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for bonuses and other benefits.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
