We’re looking for a dynamic Product Development & Supply Chain Manager to bring breakthrough skincare products to life—from first spark to shelf. Key Responsibilities

Product Development

  • Support the end-to-end product development process from ideation to launch for professional formulas and packaging.
  • Conduct benchmarking, market analysis, and ingredient research to support innovative, on-trend product strategies.
  • Partner closely with Education and Clinical to help manage claims substantiation, clinical testing, and documentation.
  • Ensure Project Tracker is up to date on all formula and packaging samples along with feedback

Product Marketing

  • Partner closely with Marketing to review all copy and claims for regulatory compliance.
  • Manage the Product Marketing process to ensure Creative artwork translates into physical product
  • Work closely with packaging suppliers to transition final artwork to Pre Production Samples and full production samples


Supplier & Sample Management

  • Liaise directly with raw material and packaging suppliers to request samples and technical documentation for continuous COGs improvements
  • Follow up consistently to ensure timely delivery of lab samples, packaging comps, and submissions for evaluation.
  • Maintain organized records of sample status and testing outcomes.

Quality, Compliance & Innovation

  • Ensure all products are developed in compliance with global regulatory standards, safety requirements, and internal quality protocols.
  • Partner closely with Operations to ensure all production batches are tested according to their clinical protocol
  • Help identify and evaluate new ingredients, technologies, and sustainable innovations relevant to the skincare category.
  • Ensure all Registrations are up to date, including expansion into new markets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Product Development, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in product development within the personal care industry.
  • Skincare experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Understanding of skincare ingredients, formulations, and consumer trends.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet), and PLM systems a plus.

The pay range for this role is:

100,000 - 120,000 USD per year(los angeles)
