What You’ll Do
As a key member of the Engineering team, you will participate in the full product development lifecycle—from initial concept and prototype fabrication to testing, refinement, and production readiness.
Core Responsibilities
- Design HVAC-related components including compressor and alternator brackets, evaporator and condenser mounts, ducts, and control panels
- Develop and construct tools, fixtures, molds, and prototype hardware for new and existing programs
- Test-fit engine compartment and passenger compartment prototypes to validate form, fit, and function
- Create engineering documentation, assembly instructions, and installation guides
- Analyze testing feedback and field data to drive product improvements and design iterations
- Identify opportunities for product and process enhancements that improve performance, manufacturability, and efficiency
What You Bring
- Technical background in Mechanical, Automotive, or related engineering field
- 2+ years of CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Experience working with sheet metal fabrication, fixture design, and multi-material assemblies (metal, plastics, rubber)
- Working knowledge of automotive A/C systems (compressors, condensers, evaporators, hoses, and refrigeration components)
- Experience creating technical assembly or installation documentation
- Hands-on, collaborative problem-solver with strong mechanical aptitude
- Enthusiasm for classic, muscle, and collector vehicles
