The Product Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products are accurately documented, buildable, and manufacturable throughout their lifecycle. This role supports Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy, CAD drawing interpretation, documentation creation, and continuous improvement of product-related processes. The Product Engineer serves as a key technical bridge between engineering, production, quality, and supply chain, ensuring that engineering intent is translated into effective, repeatable production practices. /
Key Responsibilities:

Review, validate, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure proper revision control.

Interpret CAD models and mechanical/assembly drawings; coordinate updates with engineering teams.

Create and maintain work instructions, assembly procedures, and other production documentation.

Provide floor support for troubleshooting, product updates, and new product launches.

Evaluate and improve product manufacturability, quality, and efficiency.

Support tooling, fixtures, and production setup needs.

Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and production to resolve product issues.

Participate in design reviews and production readiness activities.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Attributes:

Strong understanding of product lifecycles, engineering documentation, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to read and interpret CAD models and technical drawings.

Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable working hands-on in a production environment.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with BOMs, revision control, and engineering change processes.

Experience with CAD-based designs (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, etc.).

Experience creating technical documentation or work instructions.

Experience with ERP/MRP systems for BOM/routing management.

Familiarity with Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methods.
Physical Requirements:
