We are building agentic AI tools to transform administrative workflows at healthcare organizations. We’ve started with home health, where we help agencies reduce administrative burden, get paid faster, and focus more on patient care — not Paperwork. Our platform automates workflows like prior auth, eligibility checks, and benefit verification by integrating deeply into providers' operations and systems. We’re a fast-paced, founder-driven startup backed by leading investors and built by a team with strong expertise in healthcare, operations, and applied AI.

We’re hiring a hands-on Product Lead Engineer who will own an entire slice of our AI platform. You’ll pair your product intuition with engineering chops to design and ship automation in one of our critical healthcare domains, such as accounts receivable. You’ll partner daily with our engineers and RCM subject-matter experts to translate real-world edge cases into clear specs and measurable wins. We anticipate that the right candidate will grow into a Director of Product Engineering role, taking full ownership of their healthcare domain.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Automation Vision

You connect the dots from clinician note to paid claim.

• Map user journey flow and turn it into a clear product roadmap
• Define success metrics and set OKRs around them
• Prioritize work in thin, testable slices in each release

Design & Ship Cross-Domain Features

You translate ideas into shipped products that move numbers.

• Facilitate discovery discussions, create rapid prototypes, and prepare detailed specifications for product workflows (such as the voice‑capture flow for the Voice Scribe product).
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify and implement the appropriate models, rules, or APIs.
• Conduct customer pilot programs, collect structured feedback, and refine solutions based on insights gathered.

Drive Quality, Compliance, & Continuous Improvement

You keep the system accurate, secure, and always learning.

• Instrument live dashboards for accuracy, latency, and cash-flow KPIs; investigate outliers and ship rapid fixes
• Build human-in-the-loop reviews where needed, feeding every approve/edit/reject back into model or rule tuning
• Help to bake in HIPAA controls, audit trails, and payer-rule updates into each release

Qualifications

• Data-driven mindset—you monitor accuracy, denial impact, and cycle time, then iterate rapidly to lift the numbers
• Clear communicator who can interview coders, present trade-offs to leadership, and document decisions for engineers
• Security & privacy savvy, designing features that protect PHI and withstand payer or regulatory audits
• Growth potential: eager to own the coding-automation roadmap now and evolve into a team-lead or product-lead role as Fira scales to new specialties

Pay: $180,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
