Product Engineer Intern

Are you eager to begin a career in engineering but can’t get started because you don’t have the experience? As a Product Engineering Intern at Hydro-Gear you will have the opportunity to work with multiple engineers on various products, with the potential to be involved in current product improvements or new product development. Our creative engineering team has a wide range of skills that covers mechanical, electrical engineering, in addition to embedded software and application development.

Throughout the summer internship you will gain experience with building and tearing down test units, analyzing tested parts, and writing test reports. Your work will have you collaborating with many different departments, including Purchasing, Quality and Operations. The experience gained and feedback given will help you better understand how your engineering degree is applied to everyday work.

• Students currently seeking bachelor’s degree in engineering program
• Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering preferred
• Current students: preferred to have Senior status
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
