Product Lead – Education Loan

About the Role:

The Education Loan product manager will be responsible for product and portfolio management of Education loans including formulation and implementation of product strategy and delivery of P&L goals.

The individual should have relevant product management work experience including new product development and launch, designing product promotion, driving on-ground implementation and active portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities.

• Product and Portfolio management:
• Strategy formulation for Education loans aligned to overall strategy of the Bank
• Drive and manage all P&L metrics for Education Loans portfolio
• Analyze competitive landscape to identify and evaluate new business opportunities for profitable growth
• Launch and own outcomes for new product/variants in line with the business strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders i.e., Sales, strategic channels, Credit, Operations, Policy, Digital/IT for seamless day to day operations covering process, risk, channel management aspects as well as on roll-out of new initiatives/changes
• Drive business growth from existing strategic partners (e.g., leading Education loan consultants) as well as launch new alliances
• Address all audit related queries and implementing relevant recommendations in a timely manner
• Manage the government sponsored schemes including subsidy management and timely reporting
• Proactively review existing processes to identify and plug any gaps/ implement preventive controls
• Address audit, compliance and regulatory items in a timely manner
• Lead and mentor a team of 4 product managers by providing clear guidance on business objectives as well as granular requirements and helping them navigate complex situations
