Product Manager - Art & Creative Tools (GelPress)

About Gel Press

Gel Press sits at the intersection of material science and artistic expression. Our gel

printing plates and tools enable artists to explore monoprinting in intuitive, tactile, and

innovative ways. We serve a growing global community of fine artists, hobbyists,

educators, and makers who value experimentation and creativity.

About You

Product-First Thinker

You see products as systems to be built, improved, and evolved. You are comfortable

owning the full product lifecycle from concept through launch and iteration.

Artist & Customer Insight Driven

You are naturally curious about how artists create. You spend time understanding

workflows, techniques, pain points, and unmet needs across fine art, craft, and

education segments.

Product Marketer

You know how to translate features into meaningful benefits. You can clearly articulate

why a product matters to an artist and how it fits into their creative process.

Research-Oriented

You actively conduct market, competitive, and user research to guide decisions. You

are comfortable gathering both qualitative insight (artist interviews, studio visits,

workshops) and quantitative data.

Builder & Collaborator

You work cross-functionally with R&D, operations, sales, and marketing to bring

products to life and ensure successful launches.

Creative Industry Aware

You understand or are excited to learn the nuances of the art supply market, including

independent retailers, art educators, workshops, and creative communities.
