Product Marketing Manager

Location: Anywhere, USA (remote)
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000

Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy at FantasyPros and BettingPros.

As our first PMM hire, you’ll be responsible for understanding our audience and defining our product marketing playbook and strategy. You’ll also partner with our product, content, design, and development teams to co-ordinate successful launches for our industry-leading advice products.

As we’re a small team, this role is best suited to someone who can move effortlessly between strategy and execution. You should be comfortable zooming out to define positioning and strategy, and then zooming in to build a campaign, write the copy, and ship the work yourself.

This is an ideal opportunity for a product marketer who is high-agency, loves to move fast, and is passionate about fantasy sports and sports betting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own Go-To-Market Strategy: Plan, co-ordinate, and execute successful launches for new products and seasonal campaigns.
  • Own Positioning & Messaging: Develop narratives and messaging guidelines that differentiate our products, then ensure they’re used consistently across channels.
  • Know Our Customers: Talk to our audience, understand their needs, and help us build products and campaigns that resonate deeply with them.
  • Write Sharp Copy: Craft clear, concise copy that tells the story of our products and breaks through the noise.
  • Make Data-Led Decisions: Use qualitative and quantitative data to understand user behavior and optimize campaign performance.
  • Think About The Journey: Think holistically about the customer journey from first touch to long-term retention, ensuring users see the right message at the right time.
  • Accelerate With AI: Employ multiple AI tools to accelerate and improve your work on a daily basis.
  • Build Our PMM Playbook: Develop tools and templates, and create repeatable processes for successful campaigns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years in product marketing
  • Proven experience creating go-to-market plans and compelling product positioning
  • Proven experience using generative AI tools as part of your role
  • Talented copywriter and storyteller
  • Ability to both think strategically and execute as the project demands
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize work across multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Meaningful experience in at least two of the following:

    • Product messaging and positioning
    • Content direction and storytelling
    • Analytics and experimentation
    • Funnel optimization and lifecycle marketing
    • SEO/GEO/ASO

Desired Experience:

  • Product marketing experience in a B2C environment or fast-paced B2B startup
  • Strong interest in fantasy sports and sports betting
  • Experience working with creators or influencers
  • Experience with AI content workflows or AI-assisted video and image tools

This is a full-time position – no contractors or agencies please.
