Product Marketing Manager- Vegas Pro

Boris FX is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for Vegas Pro, a professional video editing application trusted by creators, editors, and post-production professionals worldwide.

This is a unique opportunity to define how Vegas Pro is positioned, experienced, and adopted across every customer touchpoint. You will own the product narrative end-to-end, from high-level positioning to the on-site experience, ensuring that how Vegas Pro is presented on the website clearly reflects its capabilities, strengths, and direction.

You’ll work closely with product, engineering, design, and content teams to shape release narratives, drive adoption, and ensure Vegas Pro continues to resonate with both long-time professionals and the next generation of creators.

Responsibilities

  • Own positioning and messaging strategy for Vegas Pro across core editing, finishing, and creator workflows.
  • Own the Vegas Pro web experience, including product pages, feature storytelling, and conversion paths, ensuring the website clearly communicates value and drives acquisition.
  • Define and execute go-to-market plans for major releases, feature launches, and ongoing marketing initiatives.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling benefits that reflect real-world editing workflows.
  • Shape release narratives and ensure consistency across web, email, video, social, and in-product messaging.
  • Influence product roadmap priorities through customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal and external creators to produce high-impact marketing assets including web content, videos, livestreams, tutorials, and customer stories.
  • Partner with design and development teams to continuously improve the website experience, performance, and conversion.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in product marketing, ideally within video editing, post-production, or professional creative software.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, design, and marketing teams.
  • Experience owning or heavily influencing website strategy, content, and performance for a product-led business.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to technical accuracy and narrative clarity.
  • Deep understanding of professional video editing workflows from ingestion through delivery and fluency in industry terminology.
  • Experience marketing to knowledgeable, demanding creative professionals who expect precision and authenticity.

Bonus Points For

  • Hands-on experience with Vegas Pro or other professional NLEs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Familiarity with post-production workflows across film, broadcast, YouTube, and creator-driven content.
  • Experience producing educational content such as tutorials, demos, or livestreams.
  • Active involvement with creator communities or professional user groups.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
