PRODUCT MARKETING SUPPORT

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The role is intended to support and promote higher efficacy of marketing and sales activity in the Middle East region, with a particular focus on product development and promotion. The candidate will support the development of proactive fragrance collections and client briefs, create and deliver impactful product presentations based on trend identification, and will collaborate in the organization of trainings, international exhibitions and special events.
The Product Marketing Support will functionally report to the Product Marketing Manager, and accordingly will be under the direction of the Marketing Dept. at Moellhausen HQ in Italy, while he/she will hierarchically report to the Dubai Office Manager.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years previous experience in Marketing or Product Development
  • Experience in fragrance evaluation REQUIRED (marketing and organoleptic– is a strong plus)
  • BSc in Marketing or equivalent education
  • Excellent communication and planning skills
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English and Arabic - French is a strong plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point etc.)
  • Interest in fragrances and the world of scents.
  • Graphic design skills are highly appreciated.

Key responsibilities:

Market Intelligence

  • Support the preparation of regional and global product launches;
  • Keep track of the market dynamics of all scented product categories, monitoring new product launches and macro trends.
  • Tracking Fine Fragrance trendsetter brands’ moves in communication, packaging and especially fragrance strategies.
  • Monitoring benchmarks and novelties within product categories through market visits.
  • Prepare reports and specific market analysis across all scented product categories.
  • Using Marketing Intelligence and Consumer Insights tools to understand consumer behaviour and ideate/identify new products’ ideas supporting the company goals.

Product Development & Fragrance Expertise

  • Collecting, analysing, and reporting information on local, regional, and international market needs – necessary for targeting both existing products and new fragrance creations/projects.
  • Provide operational support to all activities of the Product Marketing Team, interacting with R&D, Technical Depts., Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Marketing or Sales Team when needed;
  • Preparing marketing materials (creative storytelling, engaging mood boards, presentations…) to support fragrance concepts and collections.
  • Collaborate in the organization of trainings, special events and exhibitions;.
  • Manage the marketing fragrance library of the Office, to ensure it is always complete and updated.

Clients’ Support

  • Empower the Sales Team with marketing contents, respecting Moellhausen brand guidelines and tailoring them to specific client needs.
  • Identifying clients’ “white space” and product gaps, supporting client on segmentation and brand portfolio strategies.
  • Working with R&D and Sales to establish the appropriate olfactory directions to win briefs in new market ventures.
  • Support the organization of in-house training sessions, to share and ensure the correct understanding, positioning and launch of fragrance collections.
  • Manage and interact with suppliers for developing promotional materials and supporting marketing activities.

Team Collaboration

  • Providing local support for the implementation of Marketing HQ plans.
  • Collecting and routing contacts/information on Marketing and sales opportunities.

Location: Dubai, UAE - National and international travelling will be required
