Position Summary

The Product Operations Specialist supports the Product and Development teams by coordinating operational processes, conducting quality assurance testing, managing workflows, preparing software releases, maintaining documentation, and troubleshooting system issues. This role serves as a key liaison between product managers, developers, support teams, and business stakeholders to ensure projects progress efficiently from development through deployment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys process improvement, problem-solving, software testing, and cross-functional collaboration. Through effective coordination and quality oversight, this position helps enhance the reliability, safety, and overall effectiveness of systems that serve MinistrySafe clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough quality assurance testing across staging and user acceptance environments.
  • Perform regression testing and validate all software modifications prior to deployment.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of software bugs, testing outcomes, and technical findings.
  • Provide administrative support for Jira and ticket management and workflow optimization.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, release readiness protocols, and cross-functional release coordination.
  • Investigate and validate member-reported technical issues to assist with troubleshooting.
  • Oversee the update of support documentation, SOPs, and internal knowledge sharing resources.
  • Monitor project trajectories and ticket statuses to address blockers, stale items, and workflow inefficiencies.
  • Ensure operational follow-through for product, development, and system integration initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Product, Development, Support, and Operations teams to maintain project alignment.
  • Deliver first-level technical investigation and dedicated troubleshooting support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Robust analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in quality assurance or software testing preferred.
  • Proficiency with Jira, , or similar project management tools preferred.
  • Proven experience documenting technical issues, procedures, or processes preferred.
  • Experience providing first-level technical troubleshooting preferred.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles, APIs, or system integrations is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain professionalism.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
