Product Owner - Energy Manager

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner – Energy Manager to collaborate with global software development teams and drive the end-to-end product lifecycle of energy management solutions. In this role, you will translate business requirements into actionable features, prioritize product backlogs, and ensure delivery of high-value, customer-focused solutions in an Agile environment.

You’ll make a difference by:

• 
  Working with Product Managers to convert business requirements into software features and service enhancements.
• Continuously refining features, user stories, and enablers with clear acceptance criteria and socialize them with development teams.
• Owning and managing a prioritized product backlog for Scrum teams based on customer value.
• Participating in Program Increment (PI) planning, Release Management, and Change Management processes.
• Collaborating with stakeholders including Product & Release Managers, Scrum Masters, Architects, Development, QA teams, and other dependent R&D projects.
• Reviewing and approving system architecture decisions.
• Coordinating development tasks and content planning across international teams in Germany, USA, and India.
• Influencing the full product lifecycle from ideation to market launch, ensuring competitive advantage and commercial success.
• Working closely with Product Management and Sales to identify and evaluate new market opportunities.
• Ensure maximum customer benefit through early feedback loops and continuous collaboration with all stakeholders.

You’ll win us over by:

• 
  Holding a B.E. / B.Tech / M.Sc. / MCA in Computer Science / Information Technology.
• 8–12 years of IT software product development experience, with at least 3 recent years as a Product Owner in Agile software development, preferably in the Energy Management in Buildings domain.
• Proven experience in international multi-site collaboration, including working with remote teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based software services.
• Fluency in English and ability to work in an international environment.
• Ability to empathize with end-users, analyze requirements, and drive feature delivery with development teams.
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management tools such as Jira, IBM Jazz.

Preferred / Desirable Skills:

• 
  Experience in Energy & Sustainability solutions domain.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and technical discussions.
• Product Owner certification.
