About the Role:
We are looking for a Product Owner Intern who is passionate about creating impactful digital products and translating ideas into clear product requirements. This role offers you the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and stakeholders to bring product ideas to life.
You’ll play a critical role in understanding business goals, analyzing user needs, writing user stories, and contributing to product roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, competitor analysis, and market research.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories, use cases, and workflows.
- Assist in creating product roadmaps, wireframes, and specifications.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, developers, and QA teams throughout the development cycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum environment).
- Conduct acceptance testing to validate feature implementations.
- Provide regular updates and insights to internal teams and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to understand user needs and translate them into business/technical requirements.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Trello, Notion, Figma, or Confluence is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and documentation skills.
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with business analysis, project coordination, or product management (even academic or freelance).
- Basic understanding of UI/UX, wireframing, or prototyping.
- Familiarity with digital products, SaaS platforms, or mobile/web applications.
