Product & Production Designer (SolidWorks + Adobe) – Hands-On Role (Toy collectables)

We are a small, growing manufacturing company producing custom products using laser cutting, printing, and assembly. Our team is hands-on, fast-paced, and focused on getting things done efficiently.

We’re looking for a versatile designer who enjoys the full product process and can help us design products, create production-ready files, and photographing the finish product.

Job Overview

This is not a traditional design role. You will be involved in both design and production.

• Create and modify product designs using SolidWorks
• Prepare production-ready files for laser cutting and printing
• Design graphics using Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop
• Use AI tools to create or enhance artwork when needed
• Take basic product photos (simple setups, not studio-level)
• Assist with improving workflows and design processes
• Work closely with production to ensure designs are practical and efficient

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with SolidWorks (or similar CAD software)
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Ability to balance technical design + visual design
• Practical mindset — designs must be manufacturable
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, small team environment
• Able to move quickly and handle a variety of tasks

Bonus (not required):

• Experience with video editing or content creation
• Experience with AI image tools (Midjourney, etc.)
• Photography or product rendering experience

• Monday to Thursday: 8.30 am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8.30am – 4.30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
