Product Sourcing & R&D Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Electronics Product Sourcing & R&D Specialist to identify, research, and source innovative electronic products for our company. The ideal candidate should have strong market research skills, supplier sourcing experience, and deep knowledge of consumer electronics trends.

This role involves discovering new product opportunities, evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing, and supporting the launch of profitable electronic products.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify trending electronic products and market opportunities
• Source products from global suppliers, manufacturers, and OEM/ODM factories
• Conduct competitor and market analysis
• Evaluate product quality, pricing, and supplier reliability
• Coordinate with suppliers from China and other international markets
• Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead times, and product customization
• Work closely with management on new product development strategies
• Analyze product profitability and market demand
• Stay updated on latest consumer electronics and technology trends
• Manage product samples, testing, and supplier communication
• Maintain sourcing databases and supplier records

Requirements

• Proven experience in electronics sourcing, procurement, or product research
• Strong knowledge of consumer electronics and gadgets
• Experience with Alibaba, 1688, Global Sources, or similar sourcing platforms
• Understanding of OEM/ODM manufacturing processes
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to identify profitable and trending products
• Experience working with international suppliers, especially China
• Good analytical and research skills
• Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
• English proficiency required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce or retail electronics industry
• Existing supplier network in electronics manufacturing
• Knowledge of product compliance and certifications
• Arabic or Chinese language skills are a plus

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
