Product Specialist

Job purpose

To promote and sell the company's optical products. Customers can include doctors, nurses and pharmacists. The medical representative will increase product awareness, answer queries, provide advice and introduce new products.


Duties and responsibilities

  1. Follow up on sales at both private & Government sectors
  2. Maintain & grow the business in all accounts.
  3. Handle training & workshops to the healthcare professionals: (hospitals: Doctors & Nurses).
  4. Build up good relationship with the end-users & the executive purchasing officers.
  5. Follow up the local (Pharmatrade) and the overseas direct sales.
  6. Execute field visits if the business need arises.
  7. Prepare Monthly action plan that should match with the principles and Pharmatrade core strategy and be submitted to principles and Pharmatrade Operations Manager.
  8. Handle Marketing surveys & Marketing research when requested.
  9. Liaise between principle and Pharmatrade for quoting, tendering, technical support and price gathering.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any healthcare related subject
  • 2-3 years of experience in similar position and optical background
  • Valid Driving License
  • Interpersonal Skills

  • Physically fit
