Product Specialist

This role is responsible to bridge the gap between IPSEN and healthcare professionals treating rare diseases, to drive awareness, and become a trusted resource for HCPs for specific rare disease, product's benefits, and collaborate to improve patient outcomes in the Western Region of the Kingdom. Contribute to IPSEN 's success by achieving set goals and expanding access to treatment for patients with rare diseases. Act like a bridge, ensuring HCPs have the information they need while adhering to IPSEN’s strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

Product and Disease Expertise

  • Become a subject matter expert on the specific rare disease and the IPSEN related products
  • Disseminate high-quality accurate information about the rare disease product to HCPs within the framework set by IPSEN’s overall strategy and established procedures This ensures messaging is consistent, compliant and tailored to the specific region

Customer & Key Centers Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with HCPs specializing in the relevant rare disease. Educate them about the product’s benefits and how it can improve patient outcomes
  • Develop & implement strategies to drive awareness and interest in IPSEN’s product among HCPs and potentially patients
  • Ensure regular visits and check ins with HCPs and KOLs

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Track and analyze performance, competitor activity, and market trends
  • Prepare reports to inform future strategies and product development
  • Ensure accurate and regular reporting of daily activity
  • Ensure the CRM tool is up to date
  • Manage material resources (ADV, delivery documents, TAP)

Knowledge, Abilities, and Experience:

Knowledge & Experience (essential)

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and scientific concepts
  • Strong scientific communication skills

Knowledge & Experience (preferred)

  • Experience in Rare Disease

Education / Certifications (essential)

  • Degree in Pharmacy or related field

Language(s) (essential)

  • Arabic
  • English
