Product Support Specialist – Industrial Shredding Equipment at Granutech-Saturn Systems
Granutech-Saturn Systems, a world-leading innovator and manufacturer of heavy-duty industrial shredders, grinders, and recycling systems, is seeking a skilled Product Support Specialist to join our team in Grand Prairie, Texas. With over 50 years of experience in size and volume reduction technology, we design, build, and support robust recycling equipment used globally across industries—from e-scrap and tires to scrap metal and hazardous waste.
Role Overview
The Product Support Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and longevity of our industrial shredding systems. You’ll work directly with our engineering team and experienced technicians to gain in-depth knowledge of plant design, equipment layout, construction, and operation. This hands-on position supports both on-site and customer-facing service operations, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
You will travel domestically and internationally to customer sites approximately 25% of the time or as needed, providing expert technical support and building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Disassemble and reassemble equipment and components using blue-prints or drawings as well as building from experience
Ability to use hand, air, and electrical tools as intended and in a safe manner
Field service/field engineering experience
Following electrical paths and understanding basic electrical schematic symbols
Must possess methodical troubleshooting skills
Ability to understand operations or part of operations, and how variables may affect them
Ability to use knowledge of systems, understanding components, electrical skills, and hydraulic schematics, utilizing basic testing equipment (multimeter, test lights, voltage/current generators, etc.) to troubleshoot operational issues.
Root cause/effect troubleshooting skills

This person must care about their job, performance, physical appearance, content of their communication and have the desire to excel. This person must not be afraid to ask questions that will aid in completing the assigned tasks. This person is to be motivated towards constant improvement.
