The requirements for the successful candidate are;

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s Degree or MBA is a plus)

10+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical production planning and coordination roles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.

Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, or other certifications in continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Analytical thinker, solution-oriented, and possesses strong persuasion skills.

Strong communication skills, successful in building interpersonal relationships, with solid planning, leadership, and organizational abilities.

The key duties of the successful candidate are;
Production and Supply Planning Development:

Design, implement, and continuously improve production and supply planning processes to ensure alignment with customer demand and market trends while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

• Leverage production capacity, material availability, and operational constraints to develop accurate production plans and ensure efficient inventory management.

Ensure efficient utilization of production capacity by conducting short, medium, and long-term capacity planning, analyzing capacity utilization rates, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing regular capacity forecasts and reports to senior management.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

Partner with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure a cohesive supply chain strategy and efficient production flow.

"Align production planning activities with procurement processes to support the timely availability of raw materials and resources."
Production Monitoring and Data Analysis:

Regularly review and analyze production data (e.g., production rates, inventory levels, lead times) to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas of improvement.

Generate actionable insights from data to optimize supply chain and production performance.

Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on production and supply planning status, challenges, and opportunities.
KPI Tracking and Adjustment:

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as production efficiency, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery rates, to ensure targets are met.

Proactively adjust production schedules and planning processes as needed based on KPI analysis to optimize performance.
Team Leadership and Development:

Lead, mentor, and guide the planning team, ensuring adherence to established processes, timelines, and quality standards.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, empowering team members to suggest and implement process enhancements.

Conduct regular team performance evaluations and provide feedback to ensure consistent professional growth and alignment with company goals.
Supply Chain Issue Resolution:

Act as a point of escalation for supply chain disruptions, delays, or bottlenecks, identifying root causes and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues swiftly.

Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to proactively address potential supply chain challenges.
Inventory and Stock Level Management:

Oversee inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet production requirements without incurring unnecessary carrying costs or the risk of stockouts.

Manage finished goods inventory while providing inputs and guidance to ensure the proper management of raw material and semi-finished goods inventory
Process Improvement and Cost Optimization:

Identify and implement process improvements and cost-reduction strategies across the production and supply chain, from raw material procurement through to final product delivery.

Continuously evaluate and refine inventory management practices, production processes, and scheduling techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Sustainability and Compliance:

Ensure all production and supply planning processes comply with relevant industry regulations, environmental guidelines, and company sustainability objectives.

Work with the sustainability team to ensure the production process aligns with the company's environmental and sustainability goals.
