Production Artist / Graphic Designer - Screen Printing

FiberLok is seeking a Production Artist / Graphic Designer. Candidates with experience in the print industry and screen printing would be preferred. We are looking for someone with strong experience and training in the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator as well as familiarity with implementing art specifications. The best candidates will have an attention to detail and sense of problem-solving.

What you'll bring to the position:

- College level courses and/or certification in the Adobe Creative Suite; primarily Illustrator with proficiency. BA in Graphic Design would be preferred.

- Understanding of the differences between raster and vector art files as well as spot and process colors.

- 2+ years of recent professional work experience in printing/production art, preferred.

- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment

What your day-to-day will look like:

- Prepares digital files, checks line thicknesses and gaps, manages colors and generates efficient layouts.

- Creates color separations with spot colors, overprinting, gradients etc. Prepares step outs of image for production.

- Reviews customer art, converting it to useable production art and ensuring that files are accurate and comply with standard specifications.

- Generates product variations and options to meet client needs

Pay: $24-30 per hour based on experience
