Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must be at least 18 years old. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the requirements listed below which are representative of the demands required.
Language Skills
English is the primary language. Ability to read in English a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to ask and answer questions in English. Ability to print and speak simple sentences in English.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American dimensions, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or otherwise feel an object; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee is required to be able to detect odors to help ensure a safe working environment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Personal Protective Equipment is readily available and part of everyones responsibility to use.
