Production Assistant

Position Summary:

The Production Assistant will support the Content Operations team with light video editing in Adobe Premiere, archive search, and footage organization. This role is ideal for someone who can efficiently prepare and edit short-form content – including classic games, interstitial segments, and b-roll.

Major Responsibilities:

• Perform light editing tasks in Adobe Premiere including trimming, assembling selects, adding basic graphics, and preparing content for digital platforms

• Edit and prepare classic game footage, interstitial content, and b‑roll for use across NBA digital assets

• Organize and categorize slow‑motion highlights for quick access and editorial use

• Log, tag, and catalog footage to improve archive efficiency and long‑term content discoverability

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Ability to perform basic to intermediate level editing within Adobe Premiere (cutdowns, simple sequences, audio leveling, basic color correction)

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing large volumes of footage

• Ability to multi‑task and work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment

• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Willingness to travel or work weekends when necessary

• Superior basketball knowledge is a plus

Experience Needed:

• Hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere required; familiarity with other Adobe Creative Cloud tools is a plus.
  

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree required

Salary Range:

$24.04/hr
