Production Assistant

As our operations continue to expand, we are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated Production Assistant to support daily laboratory operations and help maintain an efficient production workflow.

Position Overview

The Production Assistant plays an essential role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our dental laboratory by assisting with production preparation, material organization, workflow coordination, and general operational support.

This is a hands-on position that works closely with dental technicians and production teams to help ensure restorations move efficiently through the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include preparing workstations, organizing materials, supporting production tasks, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a clean and organized laboratory environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced, and quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily production activities within the dental laboratory environment
  • Prepare, organize, and stage materials, models, and workstations for dental technicians
  • Assist production teams with basic assembly and laboratory support tasks
  • Organize and track materials related to crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, and custom restorations
  • Maintain clean, safe, organized, and efficient workspaces throughout the laboratory
  • Handle, transport, and organize materials and production items as needed
  • Assist with labeling, sorting, packaging, and tracking laboratory cases and products
  • Support quality control processes by verifying materials and assisting with accuracy checks
  • Follow established laboratory procedures and production standards to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Support inventory organization and material availability for daily workflow needs
  • Assist in preparing completed dental restorations for packaging and shipment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, healthcare support, or dental environments preferred (not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a structured environment
  • Good hand coordination and comfort performing hands-on tasks
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 lbs when necessary
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a technical production environment
  • Basic communication skills in English
