Production Assistant

We are a rapidly growing screen printing and embroidery shop in San Diego and we are searching for a highly detail-oriented production assistant to help with trimming embroidery, catching garments off the dryer, and other production tasks on the day shift.

The job environment is structured and job expectations are clear. While the pace of the work is faster than average, quality is never compromised.

The right person for this position reliable and incredibly detail-oriented. This person thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to shift priorities successfully as needed.

Production assistants work in our warehouse. While performing the duties of a production assistant, you may be exposed to warm or cold weather. The noise level in the work environment is often loud. Production assistants must be able to work on their feet for multiple hours at a time, lift up to 50 lbs, and reach with their hands and arms. This role requires specific vision abilities that include sharp vision, focus, depth perception and the ability to identify colors.

Day shift hours are 6:00a - 2:30p Mon - Fri

DAILY TASKS INCLUDE:

• Ensuring that all finished products meet our high standards
• Communicating with the team lead when there are missing or damaged items.
• Ensuring that orders with multiple decorating techniques are packed together
• Folding, bagging, and tagging garments neatly
• Catching garments off the dryer
• Assisting with various other production tasks as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Highly proficient in multitasking and prioritizing workload
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Can quickly perform common math skills such as counting, adding, subtracting, and multiplying.
• Authorized to work in the US
• Self-motivated attitude and great work ethic
• Ability to work quickly and correctly without sacrificing results.

BONUS SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Previous experience in screen printing and/or embroidery
