Production Assistant

The Calling

A Healing Paradigm (AHP) is seeking a full-time Production Assistant to be a a visual storyteller and digital craftsperson who understands that media is medicine. In the Yoruba tradition, the àgbà (the skilled one) is honored not for working alone, but for the quality of what they bring to the communal table. This is that role: you will help carry our healing work across the African diaspora, from the studio to the screen, into the homes and hearts of people of around the globe.

This is not a behind the scenes afterthought. Our livestreams, workshops, and social media are how the wider community first meets AHP. The Production Assistant shapes how that first encounter feels, whether someone scrolling at midnight pauses, recognizes themselves, and decides to heal.

If you are a self-directed, technically fluent creative who can run a livestream, cut a clean video, design a flyer that sings, and do it all on a reliable schedule, this calling was written for you.

Production Assistant Profile

Our Production Assistant is independent, organized, and culturally rooted. You will manage a real workload across multiple platforms with minimal hand holding, communicating clearly and reliably. You take pride in clean, finished work delivered on time.

This person respects Black women and their voices, understands social-justice media as a craft rather than a slogan, and brings both technical skill and storytelling instinct. You are comfortable working as the connective tissue of a small, distributed team, proactive when there is a gap, collaborative when there is a group.

Critically, you use AI as a tool, not a crutch. You bring your own creative voice and employ AI to sharpen, speed, and elevate your work, never to replace your judgment or originality.
