What does this role contribute to the Company?
BLOC Blinds Manufacturing, LLC are looking for Production Associates to join our team in DFW. As Production Associate you will be response for working within the manufacturing facility to manufacture window shades.
We are a new State-of-the-Art manufacturing facility, working with advanced automation machinery and processes. Our facilities are new, air conditioned and very clean. For applicants with a positive attitude, you have the opportunity to learn new processes and procedures to ensure you become an integral part of the team.
What we will ask of you:
· Carryout assigned duties in line with the company’s Operational Procedures.
· Ensure products are being manufactured to a high standard and quality is constantly maintained.
· Work as a member of the wider production team to ensure efficiency, quality and on time dispatch targets are being met.
· Maintain a clean and tidy workstation and/or area.
· The ability to read and understand Standard Work Instructions in the form of text and pictures.
· Operate any machinery/power tools in a safe and responsible manner.
· Carryout basic quality checks.
· Report equipment faults to your designated supervisor.
· Report for work on time and work to the very best of your ability when on site.
· You will be required to work in a range of departments including Production Lines, Aluminium Processing and Dispatch.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
· Previous manufacturing production experience
· Good attention to detail
· Positive can-do attitude
· Willing to learn new processes
· Willingness to work 40 hours Monday – Friday 6.00am – 2.30pm plus overtime.
· Basic computer literacy, including the ability to use touchscreen production systems, barcode scanners, and simple data entry interfaces.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours per shift).
· Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 25–50 lbs
· Ability to perform repetitive motions including grasping, bending, twisting, reaching, and hand-eye coordination tasks, and operating scanners or computer equipment.
· Ability to use hands and fingers to handle tools, controls, and small components.
· Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.
· Ability to work in an environment with:
· Moderate to loud noise levels
· Adequate visual acuity to inspect parts and detect defects.
· Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, etc.
· Ability to maintain regular attendance and work overtime as required.
