MULTIPLE SHIFT OPENINGS:

Please select which shifts you are interested in when completing the application questionnaire.

1st Shift: 12PM-8:30PM

2nd Shift: 7PM-3:30AM

3rd Shift: 3AM-11:30AM

Position Information: The production associate will sort, cut and package fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as perform various warehouse activities.

Essential Position Functions:

• Process, package and wrap orders accurately
• Onsite fresh cut fruit and vegetable processing
• Inspect products for defects and damages
• Examine ingoing and outgoing orders for accuracy and quality
• Organize production/processing areas, maintaining cleanliness
• Return and place inventory items appropriately
• Check, verify and fill customer orders
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Cross train on all functional areas of the processing roles
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proven processing and/or production experience
• Ability to operate production/processing equipment such as peelers, slicers, knives, shredders,

corers, sealers, dryers, scales, metal detectors, etc.

• Adequate knowledge of production environment
• Team player with organizational skills
• Ability to lift, push, pull and/or move heavy products
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs consistently
• Willing and able to learn all functional areas in the production processing room

Education & Experience:

• Production and/or Processing experience – 2 years
• Equipment experience – 2 years
• Food product knowledge – 2 years
• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Communicate effectively in English; written, verbal, comprehension.

• Availability for shift posted (Day, Swing and/or Graveyard)

Physical Demands:
Standing and walking positions. Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment and lift up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis. Ability to pass a physical agility test, post offer.

Work Environment:
Work performed in a refrigerated and freezer warehouse environment.

Supervisory Skills:
This position has no Supervisory responsibility. Completed work is checked by Supervisor on a regular basis.

**Must complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check, as well as a post-offer physical agility test.

**Must be able to successfully complete a basic prescreening Math-Logical Reasoning test, which is conducted at the start of your interview.
