Production Control Clerk

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspects, compiles and records data for the project manager to compare records and reports production, consumption of material, quality control, and work performance efficiency. May perform any combination of the following duties: compile and record data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques. This Clerk calculates such factors as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates, using a computer, calculator, and/or spreadsheets. Additional tasks include writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in maintaining quality of work within the scope of this PWS. Prepares written schedules based on established guidelines and priorities, compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies charts production using chart, graph, or pegboard based on statistics compiled for reference by management personnel. Establishes, records, and reports findings of a detailed quality control program, ensuring that tasks identified within this PWS are met to an acceptable quality level. Ensures deficiencies identified through inspection are tracked and followed to completion or correction. Advises supervisors of deficiencies and recommends corrective actions to be taken. Possesses direct liaison authority to communicate to DAC staff, contractor corporate leadership, and project manager to inform all parties of deficiencies and corrective actions required. Responsible for entry into deficiencies database of record for all items discovered by DAC QAE during monthly inspections.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Formal or on-the-job training in a Production Control Clerk position.
Experience with software like SAP, Oracle or other Enterprise Resource Planning or Production Data Management
Experience requires (a) a good working knowledge of the government supply systems, databases and computer programs of record, supply discipline programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
Experience with material requirements planning systems, inventory control, and maintaining work orders.
Strong computer skills and data entry proficiency.
Computer experience in Microsoft Office, Excel and MAXIMO systems.
Must have working knowledge of the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) equipment, Warehouse Automation, and related equipment.
Proof of US Citizenship required.
SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to effectively communicate with military organizations, military leaders and civilian leaders.
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must have ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Must have a valid driver's license, maintain Installation driving privileges.
Must be able to pass all security requirements IAW military installation Provost Marshall's Policy to gain access to the installation.

Working Environment:
The work environment consists of both office and field settings within the Fort Rucker Gunnery Range and Training Complex. The position may require frequent visits to range and maintenance sites, including exposure to noise, weather, and outdoor conditions typical of live-fire training environments. The Project Manager may be required to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays based on mission schedules and contract needs.
