Production Control Planner

Quality Manufacturing Corporation, a fast-paced metal fabrication company, is seeking a Production Control Planner to join our team. This position manages and routes production orders through our ERP and MRP systems. They work with procurement to ensure materials are available to meet demands and deadlines of our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, forecast, and manage master production schedules and plans to ensure timely manufacturing of products and delivery to customers
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement and account services to coordinate the flow of work to ensure materials and resources are available and aligned to keep production on schedule
• Manage material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements and work with Procurement to prevent shortages or excesses while maintaining appropriate levels on inventory
• Address production delays and disruptions and find solutions to improve processes and reduce costs
• Ensure system parameters used in planning and item configurations are correct to get the desired production and inventory levels and accurate cost application
• Analyze demand forecasts, production data, and key metrics to identify risks and potential delays
• Develop a working knowledge of the company's processes to ensure optimal schedule stability and load leveling
• All other duties, as assigned

Education:

• 4 year degree in Business Management, Engineering or related field preferred

Experience:

• 2 years experience working within an ERP system preferred
• 2 years experience working within an MRP system preferred
• 2 years planning experience in a manufacturing industry preferred

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge and/or experience in an ERP system
• Advanced knowledge and/or experience in an MRP system
• Excellent communication, listening, organizational and prioritizing skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
