About Blue Star Glass

Blue Star Glass is a growing, high-performing commercial glass fabricator supporting large-scale and high-profile projects nationwide. We’re known for quality, speed, and a hands-on team culture.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Production Coordinator to support our Dallas operations. This role is a key hub between Customer Service, Production, Sales, and Logistics — ensuring orders move accurately and efficiently from entry through fabrication and delivery.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Customer Service, Production, Sales, and Logistics to keep job information accurate and aligned
  • Coordinate production workflows and support scheduling to meet required timelines
  • Review and interpret work orders, drawings, specifications, and project documentation with high accuracy
  • Procure materials required for projects (glass, interlayers, spacers, sealants, hardware as applicable), ensuring correct quantities, specs, and timing
  • Track job status, updates, and key changes so production always runs on the most current information
  • Manage communication for change orders, RFIs, and revised drawings (documentation control / version tracking)
  • Assist in resolving job issues (material shortages, spec conflicts, missing details) by coordinating across departments quickly and clearly
  • Support daily/weekly production check-ins with status updates and action tracking
  • Maintain organized records and follow internal processes, quality standards, and documentation requirements
What Success Looks Like in This Role
  • Jobs are released with complete, correct information (fewer preventable remakes and delays)
  • Materials arrive on time and to spec
  • Changes are documented and communicated fast — no one runs off outdated drawings
  • Production + logistics stay unblocked because details are proactively handled
Qualifications

Required

  • Strong reading comprehension and comfort working with technical documents (shop drawings, specs, work orders)
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple jobs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written)
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating across teams

Preferred

  • Prior CSR experience in glass, glazing, construction, or manufacturing
  • Experience coordinating production in a fabrication environment (glass/IGU/tempered/laminated a plus)
  • Proficiency with tools like Excel, Outlook, Teams and ability to learn ERP/production systems quickly (e.g., [FeneVision/LiSEC/other])
  • Familiarity with documentation control and change management
Why Blue Star
  • Team-oriented, hands-on culture with real ownership and accountability
  • Exposure to complex, high-profile commercial projects
  • Competitive compensation + benefits: [medical/dental/vision] [PTO] [holidays]
  • Structured onboarding and cross-training to support a smooth transition into the role
