Job Summary Statement:
The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. This role involves monitoring production schedules, tracking work order closures, analyzing production and material rejection data, and coordinating with cross-functional departments to achieve production targets while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors and ensure timely closure of all production work orders, highlighting delays and coordinating corrective actions to maintain production schedules.
Tracks raw material rejection trends, conduct root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce material losses and improve process efficiency.
Collaborates with the warehouse team to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables according to production plans and work orders.
Prepares, monitors, and analyzes daily production reports to identify operational gaps, improve productivity, and support management decision-making.
Coordinates closely with support departments including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Logistics to ensure smooth production operations and timely issue resolution.
Identifies production requirements in advance and ensures manpower, materials, equipment, and operational support are arranged to avoid production interruptions.
Maintains accurate production documentation, records, and reports in compliance with company standards.
Monitors production performance indicators and assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Supports adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures within the production area.
Communicates production status, issues, and updates to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Production, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
2–5 years of experience in production coordination, manufacturing operations, or a similar role.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/production management systems.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
Working conditions: this position is primarily based in manufacturing facility.
