Production Coordinator (Fashion Industry)

Zuria Dor is looking for a Production Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of the production cycle from order placement to timely shipment. The role involves planning, coordination, and monitoring of all production-related activities including procurement, inventory, and vendor management to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

1. PRODUCTION

• Daily review of manufacturing timelines
• Work closely with the relevant teams day to day in ensuring and overseeing production of new orders and/or new collections
• Review accuracy on fabric, trims, embellishment etc being applied
• Coordinate with Inventory team to release fulfilment onto production floor
• Knowledge and understanding of technical specification sheets
• Responsible for ensuring end to end completion of orders and quality checks
• Review order forms to ensure accuracy and completeness of information
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any sizing or design-related issues during the production process
• Checking all the technical aspects of Customer Order Form before releasing to the production; ensuring that the size ordered aligns with the customer's requirements and Order Form
• Communicate with relevant stakeholders, such as designers and sales representatives, to clarify any ambiguities or resolve discrepancies on the order forms
• Collaborate with the design team to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during size verification
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of size checking results and design details for reference and future improvements
• Timely reporting to Senior Design Lead

2. DAILY COMMUNICATION WITH INVENTORY CONTROLLER

• Maintain communication about new orders, fulfilments, open issues and deliveries
• Work with inventory team to receive and update material requirements
• Work with inventory teams on mitigating risks
• Ensure Company SOPs are being followed

3. ISSUE/MAINTAIN PURCHASE ORDERS

• Collaborate with Client Advisory team to receive order details/communication on time
• Ensure up to date data on Odoo ERP
• Ensure Operations submits purchase orders to vendor on time
• Evaluate and update production delivery dates - alert cross functional teams of potential issues

4. TRACK TIMELINES OF ORDERS AND NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

• Review production report and ensure timely production and coordination between all departments
• Communicate delivery status/changes to business units

5. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a deep understanding of the order forms, including design details, specifications, and any special instructions
• Ad Hoc and weekly/monthly recaps
• Participate in production meetings
• Run monthly cross category vendor performance report and call out outliers and review with each category
• Issuance of ad hoc reports as required by reporting head
• Staying up to date with relevant technology tools the company will roll out

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations,or related field
• 1-2 years of experience as a Production Coordinator or similar role
• Experience in fashion, garment, textile, or retail manufacturing is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and capacity planning
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
• Excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
