Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and monitor daily fabrication activities (cutting, welding, assembly).
- Coordinate between engineering, procurement, and production teams.
- Track materials and ensure timely availability.
- Monitor production progress and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., American Welding Society (AWS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO)) and safety regulations.
Coordination & Communication
- Act as liaison between project managers, engineers, shop supervisors, and procurement teams.
- Communicate production updates, delays, and potential risks to management.
- Coordinate subcontractors and external vendors when required.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in steel fabrication or manufacturing/related .
- Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills.
