Production Copywriter Customer Facing (Freelance) 20-40 hrs per month

Outside Communications is looking for a freelance Production Copywriter to join our creative engine. This is a role for a sharp, hungry writer who wants to sharpen their craft by working across a variety of formats and industries.

You will handle regular, as-needed assignments by taking raw ideas or briefs and turning them into polished, professional assets that drive results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Channel Writing: Draft high-quality content across various mediums, including:
• In-depth case studies and blog posts
• Compelling email marketing campaigns
• High-converting landing page copy
• Professional press releases
• Brand Alignment: Quickly adapt your writing to match the unique tone and style of various service-based businesses.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Brand and Content and our clients to iterate on drafts and learn the nuances of strategic messaging.

Qualifications

• Education: BA in a writing-focused degree.
• Experience: 5 years minimum
• Proven Skill and Ambition: Whether you are early in your career or a seasoned pro looking for steady supplemental work, your writing must be crisp and clear.
• Versatility: Ability to switch gears between a technical SaaS whitepaper and an approachable blog post for a home services company.
• Detail-Oriented: You spot the typos others miss and care about the flow and tone of each paragraph.
• Reliability: Ability to hit deadlines consistently in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Interview Skills: Experience getting the facts from stakeholders and SME's

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
