Job Description: Purchasing materials used in manufacturing architectural woodwork, maintaining the materials library and tracking inventory levels, You will ensure that materials are purchased within budget and received in time to meet production requirements, inventory is managed efficiently, our records are accurate, and our supply chain is functioning effectively. Assist Project Engineers and Project Managers as necessary with product design duties, and preparation of work orders, associated programs, labels, cut lists, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Purchase materials specified by production within budget and delivery requirements.
- Maintaining and updating the materials library and inventory records using inventory management software
- Perform regular physical inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies
- Coordinate with production departments to forecast future inventory needs
- Implement effective inventory control methods and procedures
- Identify and dispose of obsolete or damaged inventory in accordance with company policies
- Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory
- Address and resolve purchasing, receiving and inventory issues
- Accurately enter/update information within Innergy ERP.
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
- Use AutoCAD to produce shop drawings in a Microvellum environment.
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel on design of custom/modified products prior to shop drawing submittal.
- Program details and sections for fabrication, including all CNC machining.
- Prepare manufacturing paperwork, product labels, and packing slips
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities to streamline process from shop drawings to installation.
Software used: Innergy ERP and Microsoft Office applications. Microvellum for Design.
Eligibility Requirements: US Citizen or immigrant authorized to work in US.

Position’s Supervisor: Production Manager
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience in supply chain management, purchasing, inventory control or similar role
- Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
- An analytical mind with strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to read architectural plans and specifications.
- Mechanical drafting skills and ability prepare shop drawings, and engineering products for efficient production.
- Strong math skills with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- High school diploma; Further education will be a plus
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of Architectural Woodwork Standards
- Knowledge of materials: Lumber, panel products, adhesives, finishes, hardware, etc.
- Understands wood manufacturing: Machine capabilities, processes, sequences, joinery, limitations.

- Accept consistent overtime work hours: Demands of production schedule and other various business conditions require overtime on a consistent basis. Be prepared to work 45 to 50 hour weeks.
- Travel: Work may include occasional business trips, with days/nights away from home.
