Production Engineer

The Production Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production operations. The role focuses on improving productivity, maintaining quality standards, reducing costs, and ensuring safe and timely production as per company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily production activities to meet output targets
• Monitor production processes and optimize efficiency, quality, and cost
• Ensure adherence to production schedules, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Operation departments for smooth operations
• Identify process improvements, reduce wastage, and improve cycle time
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
• Provide feedback to Research and Development team to ensure better functionality of the vehicle
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Maintain production records, reports, and stock data
• Consistently volunteers for and capably manages increased responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S, and statutory requirements
• Support new product development, trials, and process validation
• Train and guide production operators, technicians and interns

Skills&Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Electric Vehicle &manufacturing processes
• Understanding of production planning and control (PPC)
• Quick problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of quality tools and their uses
• Good communication and team coordination skills
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and MS Office
• Automobile / EV / Engineering / Manufacturing industry

Qualifications Requirements: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering

Experience

· 0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

· Experience in automotive or EV industries is an advantage.
