About the Role:
EZG Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and driven Production Engineer to support and improve our manufacturing processes. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain technical documentation, optimize production workflows, and collaborate across departments to ensure high-quality fabrication and assembly of our equipment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for continuous improvement in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
What you'll do:

Analyze original equipment and customer drawings for the creation of shop production documentation.

Document production flow for original equipment and analyze ways to improve and implement changes through continuous improvement.

Develop time studies, value stream maps and other continuous improvement projects for original equipment production.

Provide support during the building and fabrication process, ensuring that the machines are built properly and according to specifications.

Consult with managers, supervisors, operators, welders, assemblers to discuss changes to projects and design discrepancies.

Consult with suppliers and customers as needed for implementing new and improve existing production processes and equipment.

Complete engineer change requests based on feedback from customers or the production department.
What We're Looking For:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering.

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Experience with process improvement and project estimation.

Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Self-motivated with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks

Microsoft Office Suite

ERP systems (Syteline preferred)
