Job Title: Production Engineer/Supervisor - Aerospace Surface Treatment and Painting

Job Description:
The Production Engineer/Supervisor for Aerospace Surface Treatment and Painting will be responsible for overseeing the surface treatment and painting processes of aerospace components. This role involves managing production schedules, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and implementing best practices in surface preparation, coating applications, and finishing techniques. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to optimize processes and enhance productivity while ensuring compliance with aerospace industry regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and manage the daily operations of the surface treatment and painting departments.
2. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and project timelines.
3. Ensure all processes comply with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements, including NADCAP, AS9100, and other relevant certifications.
4. Monitor quality control throughout the surface treatment and painting processes to ensure adherence to specifications.
5. Train and mentor production staff on best practices and safety procedures related to surface treatment and painting.
6. Troubleshoot technical issues related to equipment, processes, and finished products.
7. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
8. Collaborate with engineering teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
9. Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required by quality standards.
10. Foster a culture of safety within the production environment.

Skills and Tools Required:
1. Strong understanding of aerospace surface treatment processes, including chemical and mechanical methods.
2. Experience with various painting techniques, including spray painting, .
3. Knowledge of aerospace coatings, materials, and testing standards.
4. Proficient in using production management software and quality control tools.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
6. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
7. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in aerospace manufacturing.
8. Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and convey technical information.
9. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
10. Experience in conducting training sessions and supporting employee development.

11. Knowledge on SAP.
