Overview

The Production Manager oversees all aspects of manufacturing to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all lines. This role requires a critical thinker with exceptional attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and proven production experience. The ideal candidate can manage people effectively, maintain control of complex operations, and earn trust by keeping production organized, compliant, and dependable.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production or manufacturing with a strong grasp of process flow and QA/QC
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot and correct issues early
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage and motivate teams
• Reliable, organized, and capable of maintaining control under pressure
• Able to work independently while providing confidence that operations are running smoothly
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the production team to ensure consistent, accurate execution
• Oversee QA/QC of ingredients and finished products; ensure SSOP, cGMP, and allergen compliance
• Manage daily production schedules, efficiency targets, and process control
• Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, and QA to ensure smooth coordination
• Identify and resolve production issues quickly and effectively
• Maintain systems and organization that allow leadership full trust in production control
• Train and develop team leads for stronger ownership and accountability
• Continuously refine systems and procedures to improve efficiency and consistency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
